Function The FXW heat recovery module is used to recover heat energy from the exhaust air of the ventilation system. The module contains an efficient battery that can be connected via a brine/water solution to a heat pump or one or more batteries on the supply air side (ecoterm system). They also provide the opportunity to preheat incoming water to a water heater. Product description • Available in two designs, FXW and FXW Light. Where FXW in addition to filter and recovery battery also includes fire gas bypass with damper function and spring return actuator. • Manufactured in six standard sizes for airflows up to 5.0 m³/s • Connects to an energy-efficient EC fan • Manufactured to cope with an 800mm intake dimension • Made in panels with 50mm mineral wool insulation in between. • Inspection hatch with hinge and lockable handle. • Bag filter in filter class F5 with eccentric locking for easy filter change. • Pressure outlet for checking static filter pressure drop. • Filter manometer • Contains the market's most efficient heat exchanger. • Water lock for negative pressure assembly. Materials and surface treatment The FXW modules have a casing with panels consisting of double alu-zinc coated plates in corrosivity class C4. The intermediate insulation consisting of 50 mm fire-resistant mineral wool. Alternative materials for aggressive exhaust air can be supplied on request. Fire gas function When the supply voltage is switched on, the motor moves towards the operating position (Closed damper), at the same time as the return spring is tensioned. If the supply voltage is interrupted, the stored spring energy is released which returns the motor to its safety position (Open damper). In the event of a fire indication, the voltage to the safety motor is interrupted, which then opens the evacuation damper. The negative pressure in the channel is then kept constant even if the filter is completely clogged. The motor is overload-proof, does not need a limit switch and stops automatically when stopped.
