The motor is controlled via a PWM signal with a frequency of 1–30 kHz and has built-in reverse polarity protection via a rectifier diode. In case of a locked rotor, automatic restart occurs with a blocking cycle of typically 0.25 s active time and 10 s pause interval. The motor has a power requirement of up to 4.3 W at full airflow.
