The 622N from EBM-Papst is a compact DC axial fan with a wall ring, measuring 60 × 60 × 25 mm. The fan is designed for stable and quiet operation with ball bearings and an operating voltage range of 8–15 V DC, with a nominal voltage of 12 V. It is ideal as a spare part or a component in new designs where reliable cooling is required.
Thanks to its compact size and flexible mounting position, the 622N is ideal for electronic equipment, industrial control systems, and telecommunications applications where space is limited but cooling demands are high.

Technical specifications
| Product attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Airflow at 0 Pa | 40 m³/h |
| Speed | 6100 rpm |
| Power | 2.1 W |
| Voltage | 12 V DC VAC |
| Motor frame | The fan measures 60 × 60 × 25 mm and weighs 70 grams. The housing is made of plastic. Mounting is done with M3 screws (ISO 4762) without a washer. The maximum tightening torque is 10 Ncm for the corner with the cable outlet and 20 Ncm for the other corners. |
| Casing | plastic, square |
| Impeller | The fan impeller is made of plastic and rotates clockwise when viewed from the rotor side. The airflow is discharged over the struts. At nominal operation (6100 rpm), the fan delivers up to 40 m³/h at free airflow and a maximum static pressure of 88 Pa. |
| Bearing type | ball bearing |
| Motor protection | automatic restart on locked rotor |
| Rotation direction | clockwise |
| Motor type | The motor is a Class III DC motor with automatic restart at locked rotor. It has built-in reverse polarity protection via a rectifier diode. The operating voltage range is 8–15 V DC with a nominal voltage of 12 V. The motor shaft can be mounted in any position. |
