The RLF100-11/12 from EBM-Papst is a compact DC centrifugal fan with backward-curved blades, measuring 127×127×25.4 mm and delivering up to 64 m³/h at free air flow. It is excellent for applications where efficient radial airflow is required in a thin and flat format – a so-called FlatPak design.
The fan is well-suited for cooling electronics, medical equipment, and industrial devices where space is limited but airflow requirements are high. The wide voltage range of 8–15 V DC provides good flexibility during design and installation.

Technical specifications
| Product attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Airflow at 0 Pa | 64 m³/h |
| Speed | 5100 rpm |
| Power | 8W |
| Voltage | 12 V DC VAC |
| Motor frame | The fan measures 127 x 127 x 25.4 mm and weighs 300 g. Mounting is via flange with ISO 4762 M4 screws, degreased and without washer. The maximum torque for mounting across both mounting flanges is 190 Ncm in all corners. The 310 mm long cable exits from one corner of the casing. |
| Casing | mixed media, square |
| Impeller | The fan impeller is made of plastic and rotates clockwise when viewed from the rotor side. Air is drawn in axially and discharged radially, which is typical for a centrifugal blower. At a nominal operating speed of 5100 rpm, the fan impeller delivers a maximum free air flow of 64 m³/h and a maximum static pressure of 415 Pa. |
| Bearing type | ball bearing |
| Motor protection | automatic restart on locked rotor |
| Rotation direction | clockwise |
| Motor type | The motor is a DC motor with ball bearings and protection class III. It does not have an electronic control board beyond basic functions, but includes reverse polarity protection via a rectifier diode. In the event of a locked rotor, automatic restart occurs through cyclical shutdown of the output stage. The voltage range is 8–15 V DC with a nominal voltage of 12 V DC. |
