The KV160XL from EBM Papst is a round duct fan intended for wall mounting. This fan is driven by a voltage-controlled asynchronous external rotor motor, and the speed is controlled by a transformer or stepless thyristor. A special feature of the KV160XL is its low noise level of only 48 dB(A). In addition, the fan can be installed outdoors or in wet rooms thanks to its tight housing and junction box class IP55 with an M20 cable relief/seal class IP68.
