The R3G280-RU65-82 from EBM-Papst is a DC centrifugal fan with backward curved blades, specifically developed for railway applications. The fan combines a RadiCal impeller size 280 mm with an electronically commutated EC motor type M3G084-CF and is powered by 26 V DC. The housing is made of cast aluminum and meets demanding train standards such as EN45545-2 HL3 and EN50155.
Thanks to its high ingress protection ratings of IP6K9K for the electronics and IP24KM for the motor, the fan is built for harsh operating environments. It is ideal for climate and ventilation systems on board trains and rail vehicles.
